Premier League: Man City at the first spot, Huddersfield is relegated

After a brief International break, Manchester City is back on the top of the table after a 2-0 win against Fulham. Bernado Silva first broke the deadline for City in the 5th minutes, and then a goal by Sergio Aguero in the 27th minutes make the job much easy for Pep Guardiola team for a full three points.
After the win, City stands at the top of the table with 77 points from 31 games with one point clear of Liverpool. However, Liverpool which is also on the fight for the Premier League will face Tottenham Hotspur today in a home game.

In the other news, Huddersfield  Town has been confirmed that they have been relegated to the Championship, after being at the bottom of the table with just 14 points from 32 games. Thus, Huddersfield is the first team this season to be relegated with only six games left in the Premier League.

Huddersfield players Jonathan Hogg describe his team relegation as devastating and said,” It’s not good. On a personal level, I’m devastated because of all the hard work that’s gone in to get us where we are today; it’s all been taken away from us.”

“It’s been enjoyable while we’ve been here (in the Premier League), but we need to make sure we put things right and try our best to bounce back.”
